Le Scandinave Spa - Mont-Tremblant, is nestled in Quebec's Laurentian range. It prizes itself on its natural setting, centered in the middle of the woods, surrounded by groves of trees. The atmosphere is modern, but is inspired by rustic Scandinavian tradition; warm decor; uncomplicated design.

The main attraction - of course - is the thermal hydrotherapy treatments offered. It uses the traditional Finnish hot and cold procedures to stimulate healing to your body, as well as smoothing your skin and relief of stress. The serenity of the woods setting really makes the experience unique and special.
Absolute Relxation.
The facilities include several Finish saunas, at varying temperatures, eucalyptus steam rooms, hot baths, cold pools and an even colder river. Chairs with foot rests all around, an outdoor fragrant fireplace area, hammocks spattered around the grounds and an indoor 'zero gravity' chair room, with walls of glass looking out onto the surrounding forest, complete the overall spa experience. (They also offer single and duo massage).

Le Scandinave staff suggest partaking in one of the heat sources for ten to fifteen minutes then plunging into the cold water for a few seconds followed by a rest for ten or fifteen minutes and then repeating..
Quite the enjoyment it was, traveling from the hot pools to the steam rooms, and mixing this with a sauna, all of these at a variety of temperatures. Given the early Spring-like temperature, I much preferred spending time in the "heat sources" and then cooling down outside and repeating. Perhaps next time I will be more daring and take a dip under their "cool" waterfalls or take a soak in the river - a very chilly temperature but I am sure later in the year, would be very refreshing.
Invigorating your body and senses, Le Scandinave is a great place for ultimate relaxation and complete serenity. Simply a wonderful experience when visiting Mont Tremblant or looking for a unique spa escape.
