My thirst for traveling and exploring new places …. The experience of meeting people from other cultures, discovering charming restaurants and the variety of different wines and dishes offered, finding museums and art galleries, and getting lost or perhaps losing myself within the bazaars and markets. The great thing is that one can see the same city over and over, yet have a different experience or perception of it each and every time.
My most recent trip was to the Virgin Islands. Tortola to be exact. My Gentleman friend and I also toured the neighboring islands of Virgin Gorda and St. Thomas (which is 1/2 hour boat ride from Tortola). What a treat! A beautiful part of the world. If you have not had the chance to travel there, I highly recommend it.
Beautiful white sand beaches, glassy turquoise sea, and evening sails marked by glorious sunsets....
